The Carbon Trust offers a variety of events ranging from introductions to our services, to technical energy efficiency training, most of which are free. We also support events run by other organisations, providing speakers and on occasion sponsoring/exhibiting. A list of future Carbon Trust events is listed below. From April 6th 2008, if you operate a building over 10,000m2 you should already have your EPC displayed. This free seminar will reinforce the requirements and provide an update on any further developments, as well as guidance on how to maintain your certificates.

This half day workshop will provide delegates with an outline of how to measure the carbon footprint of their organisation and the steps that can be taken to reduce carbon emissions. Topics covered will include: What is a carbon footprint? How to calculate your carbon footprint, reporting your carbon footprint and how to reduce your carbon footprint.

This free half day information event aims to provide deldgates with an explanation os what an EPC is and what it will mean for developers, architects, housing associations and local authorities in Scotland from 4th January 2009. Delegates will also receive information on measures and actions that will improve a building's energy rating.
